ATTENTION MILITARY DEPENDENTS, RETIREES AND DEPENDENTS: Military Dependents, Retirees, and their dependents do not need to remote proof. There are ways to get and activate your DS Logon account WITHOUT remote proofing. The preferred method is to use the email registration function by selecting "I have my DoD ID Card or CAC but NO access to a CAC reader". An email with activation code will be sent to the email address on file with instructions. Before using these options, email addresses for all family members (e.g., sponsor, spouse, and children) must be unique and cannot be a duplicate with any family member. Click the "Need Support?" button on the bottom right of this page and download a copy of the Support Documentation. Go to the Service Member and Dependent sections for additional instructions.
