How Did We Do
We value you as a patient and as a member of the McDonald Army Health Center team. We are driven to create the best health care experience possible, but we can’t do it alone. Your ideas are valuable. Tell us what we’re doing right and what we can do to improve. Better yet, share your health care experiences here and give us tips on how we can better serve you.

JOES image

JOES, Joint Patient Experience Survey, is a comprehensive survey program that is administered by the Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General. The survey focuses on issues ranging from how the provider communicated with the patient during the visit to questions about access to care, cleanliness of the facility, and courtesy of the staff. Patients are randomly mailed a letter asking them to complete a brief questionnaire regarding their care.

There are three different ways a patient can fill out the questionnaire. The first is a short-form survey of nine questions that uses a
toll-free number and a voice response system. The second method is utilizing a two page written survey. The third method is an Internet based survey where the patients can log in with a username and a password, which is provided for the patient in the letter sent to them about the survey. The confidential results of this survey are processed and trends are noted that provide immediate feedback for the leadership of this health center as well as the Office of the U.S. Army Surgeon General.

So next time you get an JOES letter in the mail, please take the time to fill out the survey. The responses that you, the patient give to McDonald Army Health Center, but help all our patients receive the best care possible.

ICE

The Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) system is a web-based tool that collects feedback on services provided by an organization.   The ICE system allows customers to submit online comment cards to provide feedback to the service providers they have encountered.  ICE allows DoD customers to rate products and services provided by DoD offices and facilities worldwide. Your comment card ratings are used to improve the products and services available to you.

If you would like to provide feedback, please use this link to access the McDonald ICE site.
