Ms. Angela Armentrout 

AngieArmentrout.pngMs. Angela Armentrout graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Radford University and  is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).  Ms. Armentrout started her Army Civilian Career in 1989 as a military personnel clerk supporting the 765th Transportation Battalion Fort Eustis Virginia. In 1990, Ms. Armentrout became part of the McDonald Army Hospital family as a personnel coordination clerk working in the Personnel Division. Her potential recognized Ms. Armentrout moved to the Resource Management Division working as a management assistant.

In 1992, Ms. Armentrout was promoted to Management Analyst working in that position for the next five years. In 1998, she became the Chief of Program Analysis and Statistical Branch where she implemented surveillance programs to monitor managed care support contractors performance.  In 1999 based on her skills as a leader and outstanding performance, Ms. Armentrout became the Deputy Chief of Managed Care Division, in this position; she served as the Deputy Chief of the Managed Care Division and the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) at McDonald Army Hospital.
 
In 2004, Ms. Armentrout served as Chief of Managed Care Division providing leadership and work direction for employees performing a variety of program functions required to develop, facilitate and execute complex managed care program.  In 2010, Ms. Armentrout became the Chief of Business Operations at McDonald Army Health Center (MCAHC) as the principal advisor to the Command for all matters concerning resource management, managed care, and civilian personnel.   In 2011, Ms.  Armentrout served as the Senior Medical Health Systems Specialist and Director, Health Program Management for   MCAHC, providing primary and specialty care in support of over 59,000 eligible beneficiaries within the Tidewater Multi-Service Market area.  In 2013, Ms. Armentrout became a major asset for the Tidewater Military Health System (TMHS)  as the Army Liaison, she served as Director for Market Analysis & Evaluation in the Tidewater Enhanced Multi-Service Market (TeMSM).
 
Her awards and decorations include Commander's Award for Civilian Service, Achievement Medal for Civilian Service,  Superior  Civilian Service Award, Order of Military Medical Merit.
