Lieutenant Colonel (Lt. Col) Vincent Myers

LTC Vince Myers recently served as an Army Congressional Legislative Liaison with the Office of the Chief Legislative Liaison, Pentagon, and previously as a Congressional Analyst, Office of the Army Surgeon General, Falls Church, VA. From 2012-2014, LTC Myers served as an Inpatient Section Chief Nurse and subsequently as the Chief of Nursing Operations at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, El Paso, TX. From 2009-2012, LTC Vince Myers was the Commander of the Illesheim Army Health Clinic, Ansbach, Germany, after serving as the Chief Nursing Officer of the Bamberg Army Health Clinic, Bamberg, Germany.
 
Across his career, LTC Myers has served in a variety of leadership, broadening, and clinical assignments including Chief, Ambulatory Care Clinic, Yongsan, Republic of Korea; Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General, Medical Research Materiel Command, Fort Detrick, MD, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Northern Regional Medical Command; and Aide-de-Camp to the Commanding General Fort Gordon, GA and Southern Regional Medical Command. He was selected and served as the inaugural Commander, Delta Company, Medical Hold, Fort Gordon, GA. He also deployed as the Assistant Chief Nurse, 261st Area Support Medical Company (Fort Bragg, NC) to Bagram Afghanistan in 2002 in support of Operation Enduring Freedom One.
 
LTC Myers earned a Masters in Nursing Leadership from Walden University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gannon University. He is nationally board certified as an Orthopedic Nurse. His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (6OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and Army Achievement Medal (1OLC). He is a member of the AMEDD Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3).
